What is Ester assumpção:

It’s an organization with no lucrative interest that works with the insertion of people with any kind of disability, in to the work market as its primary interest. 

Esters real challenge is, to help develop a more inclusive society, where the differences between people are accepted entirely.

What Ester Assumpção does:    

This institution looks for the inclusion of  handicapped people, in every field possible and also creates a conscience, about the insertion of people with disability in to society.

The organization qualifies as a reference in, research and development of public politics concentrated in the insertion of people with disability, in to society, allowing the acceptance of diversity naturally.

How does Ester Assumpção accomplishes its work.

• Social projects and research
• Active participation in networks, forums and seminars.
• Collaborating, building partnerships, between different entities from many specialties.
• Making consultancies for local governments, companies, social organizations; about strategies on how to improve the cervices given to people with special needs.
• Implementing courses and training the community, on how to include people with special needs in working areas and educational environments.

The actions that, the institution realizes, in order to accomplish every project are:

First of all Research, where the institution involves in the problem to be solved and understands it, the research allows the institution to make a diagnosis, that should help Ester Assumpção develop a, strategy for the different organizations to apply social actions according their work fields.

The next step, once the institute has already finished with the research, it mobilizes in order to contact different institutions and close partnerships between this different organizations and these NGO, which makes possible more social actions and inclusion of the persons with special needs.

This mobilization part also helps, to redistribute the public responsibility given to the government and enhances the participation of the society on the development of public policies involving the inclusion of people with special needs and never the less helps clarifying the public resources.

After mobilizing the institute intervenes thru out projects, improving the service and the quality of the management in project, optimizing resources, creating, reorganizing the investment funds in order to expand these first ones.

Finally evaluates the entire process, tries to find possible mistakes and solves them and puts all the results for public knowledge.
